About Me
Bringing Beauty & Joy to Your Daily Fix of Crochet
I live in Unley Council Area, South Australia, with my partner, our two boys and our two feline friends.
I taught myself to crochet from a book, as a very young girl. I was quickly hooked on crochet and have been crocheting on and off ever since.
I’ve taught crochet to many people over the years, in a number of places, including a pub!
I currently co-host a free, monthly, crochet catch-up in the heart of beautiful Unley, generously hosted by Unley Libraries.
We’ve named ourselves the Unley Yarnistas and we’ve been getting together since 2018.
We enjoy sharing tips, techniques, project ideas, and participating in charity drives and community displays. Of course, there is always as much conversation as there is crochet!
My blog features free content for my original designs. Many of these have a retro, boho or kitsch bent.
My designs also include quick, mindful and relaxing projects, which are ideal for busy makers who need to unwind from the stress and frenzy of the daily work grind.
Crocheting and designing crochet items is my joy – I hope my designs bring you joy also.
I thoroughly enjoy seeing all the lovely items you have made with my patterns – thank you for sharing these with me.
Thanks for visiting my site and enjoying your daily fix of crochet with me! Xx.
