Inspiration
What are the crochet items that get the most use in your household?
For me it is absolutely coasters, cozies, beanies and infinity scarves.
My cozies are seen in the wild many days!!!
Every time I get a takeaway coffee with my ceramic keep cup I use a crochet cozy to protect my hands.
Cozies are both pretty and functional.
I hope you find yours as useful as I have found mine.
Makers will tell you that you should only make cozies in cotton yarn.
I have personally made cozies in all kinds of fibres and have found easy wash wool and low or anti pill acrylics to be wonderful too.
All of these fibres wash up perfectly well for me and are still going strong after countless uses.
So my advice is find the yarn that works best for you personally!
And just in case you are making this as a sweet gift, did you know there is a matching beanie that you can also make in your Light Worsted/DK or Worsted yarn of choice?!
Check out the free Toasty Travels Beanie pattern.
