Pattern Instructions
Note:
- All rnds up to and incl the Complete Spiral Sequence are worked as a continuous spiral.
- St markers can optionally be used to mark the start of each continuous spiral rnd.
- St increases in spiral rnds are always made in the second st of the st increase from the prev rnd.
- Beg Ch 1, beg Ch 2, beg Sl St, and fin Sl St do not count as a st, except where indicated.
- Rep st sequence in [ ] the number of times specified by the pattern instructions.
- A st count follows each rnd instructions in ( ).
- The third loop (to work 3LO sts) is located at the back/reverse side of the st, behind, and approximately parallel with the back loop of the st. This is most easily located by slightly folding forwards/curling over the edge of the circle so that the reverse of the circle can be seen (as well as the front and back loops of the st).
- If joining a new col for the border, fasten off first col after Rnd 4/Rnd 5. Ignore the border rnd instruction to Sl St into next st and instead directly join new col into the st directly following the st used for the Spiral Completion St Sequence Sl St.
- 2DCCl can be used instead of 2TRCl for the final border rnd (according to personal preference).
