Welcome Crochet Magic Blog Hoppers to The Crochet Fix Blog!!!

I’m super excited to be participating in this great hop hosted by Craftopia Collective. I 100% agree that crochet IS magic!!!

I’ll be collaborating with all these fabulous designers:

Here’s how the blog hop works: Every day during this blog hop, we’ll be unveiling a new pattern suitable for beginners – these are great for sharing with new crocheters and for experienced crocheters to whip up in no time. Along with each pattern reveal, we’ll also share a special code that grants you access to the pattern either for free or at a discounted price. These patterns are free or discounted for just their featured day.

Included in the hop are my fun Festival Vibes Beanie pattern for 50% off (on April 6th) and my Arthouse Beanie OR L’il Bit Hippy Skull Cap as a free download (on April 29th).

Both of these designs use simple stitches and can be made by an adventurous, advanced beginner.

Festival Vibes Beanie – April 6th:

This beanie is so fun to make and is also equally fun to wear!

A sassy, slouchy beanie that works up quickly with any soft DK/8ply yarn.

The flower design is on trend 70’s style and is an eye-catching and unique statement piece.

Make one for yourself. Make one for your bestie. Make a pile for charity.

Two designs are provided in the pdf – the first, a simpler design with wider flowers (advanced beginner), and the second, a more complex design with narrower flowers (advanced beginner to intermediate).

1) Get the Festival Vibes coupon code from the host blog post:

2) Go to the Festival Vibes Ravelry pattern listing to cart the pattern pdf:

3) Enter the Coupon Code retrieved in Step 1 in Ravelry cart check out.
4) Enjoy your discounted pattern – be sure to make piles of beanies (as these are addictive!!!) and remember to share your makes with me @thecrochetfix on social media.

Arthouse Beanie or L’il Bit Hippy Skull Cap – April 29th

These beanies are an adventurous advanced beginner level 70’s inspired beanie that can be made as a snug skull-cap, or as a roomy or slouchy beanie.

Made from basic stitches using Worsted weight yarn, these beanies work up very quickly.

Both designs are yarn-sparing and a great way to stash bust.

Mutiple optional flower appliques are provided in the pdf.

I got myself all mixed up – a symptom of busy, working mum life! – and added a L’il Bit Hippy Skull Cap picture to the blog hop graphics instead of the Arthouse Beanie… so this resulted in the bonus of you being able to pick from two great designs to receive a free download!

Check out the Ravelry pictures for both designs and if you prefer the *L’il Bit Hippy Skull Cap design instead of the Arthouse Beanie design the coupon can be used for this instead – take your pick!!!
