  • Hook Size: Use yarn label instructions as a guide for selecting hook size. Work a swatch to determine the optimal hook for individual tension and pattern gauge.
  • Mitts Size: OSFM adult/teen women: ~20cm/~8” circumference. Length can be easily adjusted by adjusting the round repeat number.
  • Skill Level: Advanced (Adventurous) Beginner to Intermediate.
  • Stitch Terminology: US – refer to Abbreviations and Special Stitch Instructions for stitches used in the pattern.
  • Gauge: CFSC round should be ~20cm/~8” circumference.
  • Pattern Synopsis: Mitts are constructed in the round, bottom up, working RS always. Top trim (optional) is worked next. Bottom cuff is added last. Ravelry pattern pdf provides multiple options provided for trim/cuff design. Simple trim/cuff instructions provided in Blog pattern. Texture results from alternating regular and front post stitches (simplified Alpine st).
